Our Fair & Efficient Application Process:

To ensure a good fit for both tenants and landlords, we have a clear and fair application process. We encourage all interested applicants to review these requirements:

Applicant Requirements:

• Income Stability: Your verifiable monthly income must be at least three times the monthly rent of the property for which you are applying. If you are self-employed, you need to provide your verifiable tax returns for the past two years, along with your three most recent bank statements, to demonstrate your ability to rent the property. If you are a dependent, your financial means must be sufficient to show that you can afford the rent of the property you are applying for.
• Good References: You must provide satisfactory references from previous landlords or employers.
• No Eviction Records: We do not accept applicants with a history of eviction.
• Successful Background Check: All selected applicants must successfully pass our comprehensive background check.
• Move-in funds: All required move-in funds must be fully available and settled before the tenancy agreement is issued and the keys are handed over. This includes the security deposit equivalent to three (3) months’ rent.

Background Check Fee:

We only charge a flat fee of NGN 10,000 for the background check. This fee is only requested from one selected applicant at a time. If the initial selected applicant does not pass the background check, we then proceed to the next qualifying applicant on our list for their background check. This ensures you only pay for a check when you have a span chance of securing the property.
