How Mohle Realty began

Mohle Realty began inside a family. Sikirat Möhle (née Oloyinde) and her siblings were fortunate to inherit rental property in Nigeria, and for years family members looked after it with real dedication. As the number of tenants and the work involved grew, keeping everything on paper (rent, service charges, repairs and who had paid what) became a heavy task, and clear, auditable records were hard to maintain.

After agreement within the family, Sikirat took over the paperwork in July 2022 and moved it into a digital system, so that every record, from rent to repairs, was easier to keep and to share. She also took training courses to deepen her knowledge of property rental and of looking after tenants well.

The early days were not easy. Several habits that are common in the Nigerian rental market worked against good management: security deposits that are never refunded, deposits so small that a home can be left in poor condition, and rent that stays unpaid for months before a tenant moves out. Changing those habits took patience, clear agreements and fair terms for everyone.

Today the family’s rental property is well maintained and profitable. The income it earns is used to look after the property, and every member of the family still receives their share.

That experience is why Mohle Realty exists. We want to help other landlords who face the same challenges, and to offer people looking for a home something better than the agency fees, non-refundable deposits, agreement fees and commissions that have become the norm. Mohle Realty Ltd was formally registered in 2026, on the foundation of almost four years of hands-on experience.
